Born in Norman, OK and raised in several small towns in Oklahoma, I grew up as a basketball player and all-around athlete, inspired by my dad and grandpa who played at Oklahoma State. While my talent for running was quite obvious playing point guard, I didn’t begin running competitively until junior high. From the first day, I could go, and go, and go! That lead to 3-State Championships in high school, 6 All-State titles, 1 State Record, and athletic and academic scholarships to The University of Tulsa.
